Signature HealthCARE of Buckhead’s CEO, Director of Nursing, Human Resources Director and a few recent recipients of the Compassion Fund recently set out a mission to garner additional participation in the Compassion Fund in our center.
Over a period of three days, the Buckhead Compassion Fund Champions were able to educate stakeholders on the background of the Compassion Fund, eligibility requirements and how to donate, as well as how to apply for assistance if needed. The end result was incredible with participation rates tripling!
“The goal was simply to increase the education and awareness of the Compassion Fund, in hopes of acquiring additional participation,” said Signature of Buckhead CEO Loretta Barnes. “The response that we received from the stakeholders in the Buckhead facility in their willingness to donate to the Compassion Fund is truly exciting and overwhelming.”
The Compassion Fund is a not-for-profit organization that grew out of the desire to provide assistance adn alleviate suffering of employees and communities. The community and Signature HealthCARE employees are eligible to apply for assistance when they have experienced an unexpected, catastrophic event beyond their control and are unable to meet basic needs without assistance.
